A man accused of going on a road rage rampage in Canandaigua was in court Wednesday morning.

According to our news partners at the Messenger Post, a preliminary hearing for William Lantier was supposed to be scheduled today but that will be delayed because there are still many questions about the case.

His attorney said they need more time looking into Lantier's diabetes diagnosis and whether that may have played a role. Prosecutors say they still need to talk to more witnesses. We're also told more charges, including felonies, could be filed.

Investigators say Lantier hit several cars along Route 332 last week. He is charged with DWI, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
