Total Sports Experience hosting "Neymar Jr. Five" Tournament Saturday

Thousands of young soccer players will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in a knockout tournament established by Brazil and Barcelona star Neymar Jr.

Tipping Point Communications says that this tournament is called “Neymar Jr’s Five,” and there are nine qualifiers in the entire country, one of which is taking place in Rochester Saturday at Total Sports Experience. Other cities that will host qualifiers include Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami.

They say the tournament is being held for players ranging in age from 18 to 25 years old, and is for both male and female players. The games last for ten minutes, and each team will lose a player for every goal they let up. 

"It's a fun, fast and technical game," said Neymar Jr. "It's the kind of football I've always loved to play."

Tipping Point Communications notes that Miami will also play host for the United States finals on June 11. The finals will be taking place in Praia Grande on July 9, and the team that emerges victorious will be a guest of Neymar's at at a game that well take place at "Camp Nou" in Barcelona.
