News10NBC talked to a viewer who claims she saw Trevyan Rowe around 8 a.m. on Thursday morning on Interstate 490.

The 14-year-old wandered away from School Number 12 after getting off his school bus on Thursday morning. His body was found in the Genesee River on Sunday.

The viewer who reported seeing him did not want her face on camera. She told News10NBC that Rowe was standing on the opposite side of the railing on the Frederick Douglass Susan B. Anthony Bridge.

"I saw his eyes," she said. "They were wide. He looked scared. I got on the phone, called 911 before I even got off the exit. I told them there was a young boy who looked like he was in middle school and that he was standing on the bridge and that he was in a very dangerous spot."

The woman went on to say that the 911 operator told her someone would be on their way to check. News10NBC learned that New York State Police responded to the scene.

The woman said that she called state police again to check on the boy. She said that police told her that they did not find anyone on the bridge Thursday morning.
