Triple shooting on Clinton: two dead

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – There was a triple-shooting on North Clinton Avenue and Rauber Street in Rochester Tuesday night. Two of the three victims have died.

Police say that around 12:40 a.m. police heard multiple gunshots fired in the area of Clinton Ave. and Rauber St. When they arrived on the scene they located three victims who had been shot.

19-year-old Richard Collinge III was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other gunshot victims—ages 25 and 29, were both transported to URMC.

25-year-old Myjel Rand, has died as a result of his injuries. The 29-year-old victim is expected to survive.

Investigators say that the three victims were hanging out on the Rauber St. side of the vacant building at 764 N. Clinton Ave. when multiple suspects fired between 40 and 50 gunshots, resulting in the victims being shot.
