Victor postal worker pleaded not guilty to drug charge

A postal worker in Victor who federal agents arrested for stealing mail pleaded not guilty to a drug charge on Friday.

According to our News10NBC news partner Messenger Post, James Ludwig, 45, of Fairport faced a judge on Friday.

New York State Police said that Ludwig had morphine with him when he was arrested at the Victor Post Office last month.

Federal investigators said Ludwig was caught on surveillance video opening mail and removing cash and gift cards.

Ludwig is due back in court next month.
