Former competitors on The Voice are in town to raise money for Harbor House.

Friday night, the contestants will share the stage with local musicians at Anthology on East Avenue. Harbor House Rocks supports the home-away-from-home for families of patients having an organ transplant or trauma care at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Founding board member Tom Arcara is opening the concert with his band. His heart transplant sparked the idea for Harbor House.

"It started out very small," says Arcara. "We were doing things only for the patients on the seventh floor. It just kind of grew into this concept that we needed this house after meeting people who were going through a transplant like I did."

Voice contestants Nick Hagelin and Bryan Bautista will perform at the event.

Hagelin says, "I actually have a son with some special needs and we are very familiar with a similar organization the Ronald McDonald... And it worked out really well to come out and support this great cause. It's going to be a fun night."

The Season 10 contestants are donating their time to Harbor House. Doors open at 7 p.m. Friday. Ticket information is available online by clicking here.
