Last month, we told you 23-year-old Brandon Morris, of Newark, was charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child for hurting an 11-month-old boy on two separate occasions.

Now, the child's mother is facing charges: Kaitlyn Brazo, age 23, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Deputies say Brazo failed to report the baby's injuries to deputies or take the baby for medical treatment. Deputies also tell us she allowed Morris to continue to care for the child despite the injuries.

She was arraigned in Newark court and will reappear at a later date. An order of protection has been issued for the child in the case as well against both Brazo and Morris.
