A Webster man charged with trying to burn down an apartment building he owns in Rochester pleaded not guilty on Thursday.
Eric Reynolds will remain behind bars. During a court appearance on Thursday, he pleaded not guilty to arson and criminal possession of a weapon.
Prosecutors say that weapon is the explosive device that was inside the building he owned at 401 Ridgeway Avenue. One device did detonate, and prosecutors say it detonated in the main hallway of the building, damaging it. There were other devices inside as well, according to prosecutors.
Reynolds is being held on no bail. Prosecutors will present the case to a grand jury.
