Carifest celebrates its 33rd year

Flags of all kind were flying and rhythm filled the streets as the 33rd annual Carifest.

Parade floated through the downtown area.

The community came out to celebrate the culture of the West Indian islands, like Jamaica and Cuba.

The parade was the beginning of a festive day here in Rochester.

There are concerts going on-- as we speak-- at Martin Luther King Junior Park and one of the headliners is Elephant Man.
