Flags of all kind were flying and rhythm filled the streets as the 33rd annual Carifest.
Parade floated through the downtown area.
The community came out to celebrate the culture of the West Indian islands, like Jamaica and Cuba.
The parade was the beginning of a festive day here in Rochester.
There are concerts going on-- as we speak-- at Martin Luther King Junior Park and one of the headliners is Elephant Man.
For more information on the ongoing festival, you can head over to the festival's Facebook page for the latest details.
