Human remains found in Genesee River, RPD confirms

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Rochester Police Department says a decomposed human body was found in the Genesee River on Tuesday afternoon.
A report of a decomposed body was made just after 3 p.m. just north of Route 104.
The Rochester Police Scuba Team examined the remains and determined they were human.
Police are still investigating but believe there is no danger to the community.
