Beleaguered Bills quarterback EJ Manual is headed west.

The Raiders announced on Monday that they have signed the former first round pick for the Bills. Manuel didn't have an easy time in Buffalo, struggling to stay on the field for his four years in Buffalo, before being relegated to the bench as Tyrod Taylor took over as starter.

Manuel failed to live up to his first round status throwing for 3,500 yards, 19 touchdowns and 15 interceptions in 17 starts. After spending most of three years injured or on the bench, Manuel got one last chance to show his ability at the end of the 2017 season.

Starting the final game of the season, he completed nine of 20 attempts for just 86 yards with no touchdowns, but no interceptions in the loss. Later in the game, he was replaced with rookie Cardale Jones in the game.

In Oakland, Manuel will be a reserve behind rising star Derek Carr.
