“Harmonica Pete” comes home to perform national anthem before Amerks game

He's a veteran known nationwide for his musical skills, and today “Harmonica Pete” put them on full display in his hometown of Rochester.

The world war 2 veteran often plays his harmonica, and was able to play the national anthem before the Amerks game tonight.

He says he enjoys to play and loves to see the smiles on people's faces when he's at an event.

Pete Dupre “Harmonica Pete”/World War II Veteran: "It's always a wonder for me and a great thing, I enjoy it, I call this my best friend in the world because it's actually glued to me.  Whenever I can I try to get out and entertain and it goes over pretty well." 

"Harmonica Pete" will be at the NHL All-Star Game later this month as well.
