Rhinos to honor 2012 Hall of Fame Class on Saturday

The Rochester Rhinos host Harrisburg on Saturday and it should be a great night for soccer fans. The team is honoring three greats who will represent the 2012 Rhinos Hall of Fame Class.
Doug Miller is the best goal scorer in the history of the USL, finishing his career with 91 goals. He had 15 multi-goal games.
Goalkeeper Pat Onstad is considered the best player at his position in Rhinos history, playing in four finals, winning two A-League Championships and the 1999 U.S. Open Cup.
Center back Craig Demmin is the only four-time Rhinos MVP. He also played in four finals, winning two A-League Championships and the U.S. Open Cup. Demmin says that period of soccer in Rochester was magical.
Demmin said, “It was a soccer town USA type of atmosphere where everything you did was appreciated and everywhere you went people like the team and fans came out and supported us. Players were all committed and they all were experienced in playing for each other.”
The Rhinos host Harrisburg Saturday on Hall of Fame night. Kickoff at Sahlen’s Stadium is 7:05p.m. The first thousand fans will receive a Craig Demmin bobblehead.
