The Buffalo Bills are not opting in on a new NFL policy that will allow teams to televise games when stadiums are only 85-percent sold. That’s according to our NBC affiliate in Buffalo, WGRZ.
The Buffalo News reports that Bills CEO Russ Brandon says the team is a volume business and they need to keep ticket prices low and sell a large number of tickets to be successful. According to Brandon, teams who take part in the new NFL policy would have to pay a larger amount in the league-wide revenue sharing which would amount to a significant loss.
