What is the Hillside Community Shield?

Sahlen's Stadium is back in the spotlight.

First Abby Wambach and Team USA played there against Costa Rica and Tuesday night, big rivals in high school and college soccer will play for a good cause for the first ever Hillside Community Shield.

The featured match at 7:30 p.m. will be Rochester Institute of Technology’s men’s soccer team vs. the University of Rochester’s men’s soccer team for the Community Shield -- a trophy.

The boy’s teams from Aquinas and McQuaid will compete in a preliminary match at 4:30 p.m.

The event will feature a remembrance service, live entertainment and other activities.

This event supports the youth and families served by Hillside Family of Agencies.
