Amerks to honor fallen and injured West Webster firefighters at game Monday

The Rochester Amerks will honor the fallen and injured West Webster firefighters by wearing a special patch on their jerseys during their game against Hamilton on Monday January 21.
The game will be at 1:05 p.m. At the Blue Cross Arena. Following the game, the Rochester Police Department will face-off with the Rochester Fire Department in an exhibition hockey game.Members of the Amerks Alumni Association, including Jody Gage, Scott Metcalfe, Rory Fitzpatrick, Jim Wiemer, Ray Maluta, Brian McKinnon, Daryl Drader, Steve Langdon and Ken Soble will suit up for the teams as well.
The Amerks jerseys with the special patch will be auctioned off online with proceed going to the West Webster Fire Department.
The Amerks are also offering all first responders a complimentary ticket to the Hometown Heroes Game. In addition to the complimentary ticket, first responders can purchase additional tickets for their family and friends for just $15. For more information, click here.
