Rochester Amerks to take part in AHL Outdoor Classic at Frontier Field

The Buffalo Sabres were a part of the first Winter Classic five years ago. Now the Rochester Amerks will take part in the AHL Outdoor Classic at Frontier Field. The RIT's Men's and Women's teams will also get in on the action.
The three teams will have a joint press conference Thursday at Frontier Field at 10:00a.m. where they are expected to officially announce the outdoor games.
There is no word yet on the month or matchups for each team. The AHL Outdoor Classic started in 2010.
