Barn fire extended into woods in Wheatland

WHEATLAND, N.Y. – There was a barn fire in Wheatland on Saturday. The Mumford Fire Department said that it was a barn fire that extended into the woods.

A firefighter told our photographer, who was at the scene, that brush surrounding the barn complicated things. Multiple companies had to respond to shuttle water.

The fire was minor, and MFD said there were no injuries.
