ROCHESTER N.Y. (WHEC) — Two Rochester-area Starbucks Thursday voted to unionize.

The National Labor Relations Board counted mail-in votes to decide whether to unionize six more Starbucks stores in Western and Central New York.

The Mt. Hope and Brighton Monroe Starbucks locations have voted to unionize, with Mt. Hope voting 13-11 and Brighton Monroe voting 10-3.

Starbucks employees in the Buffalo and Ithaca areas are also voting on whether or not to unionize. Seven other stores in Buffalo have already unionized, despite reports of aggressive anti-union campaigns by Starbucks, including retaliation and firings.

The NLRB will tally the Ithaca votes at 1 p.m. Friday. Nationwide, 180 Starbucks stores are now unionized.
