ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Sunday morning members of the local fitness community were squatting at the 3rd annual ROC Sweatfest for a good cause.

It’s a fitness festival that drives a healthy lifestyle and gives back to the community.

The festival had four 30-minute sessions at MLK Park. Some of the sessions included yoga, burn bootcamp, pilates and cycle.

There were also vendors showcasing the best health and wellness scene Rochester has to offer!

The founder of Sweatfest said the goal is to sweat for a purpose.

“Rochester has an incredible fitness community and we want to be able to bring that fitness community all together under one roof and make fitness accessible to those people who have it all, whether it be monetary barriers or physical barriers, like they feel like they can come here, try something, and realize that there is something for everyone,” SweatFest Founder, Ashley Russ said.

A portion of the proceeds will go to the Bivona Child Advocacy Center.
