490 construction project to start Monday

RIGA, N.Y (WHEC) – Heads up for next week — a traffic alert!
Starting Monday, you can expect long-term lane and ramp closures along 490 near Riga.
The entrance ramp to 490 East from State Route 36 will close starting Thursday. This is to make repairs to the bridges over Black Creek.
490 will be reduced to one lane in both directions. The work is expected to continue through September.
