$600,000 raised during salute to veterans golf tournament

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Earlier this week, we saw the CDS Wolf Foundation’s 35th annual Salute to Veterans golf tournament.

Now have a tally of how much was raised. How does 600-thousand dollars sound? It’s a record for this event.

Some 240 golfers came out to oak hill country club to compete. The money raised will be used by the ‘warrior salute veteran services program’ for vets who have PTSD and other trauma, as well as drug and alcohol addiction.
