9 arrests, 3 officers injured in fourth night of protests

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Nine people were arrested and three officers were injured during a Saturday night protest over the death of Daniel Prude.

The individuals arrested include:

  • Dallas Williams-Smothers, 20, criminal possession of a weapon in the first degree, rioting in the second degree
  • Adam Green, 20, assault in the second degree against an officer, unlawful assembly
  • Juan Santos, 34, unlawful assembly
  • Angel Lopez, 33, unlawful assembly
  • Sonia McGaffigan, 19, unlawful assembly
  • Jacob Curley, 22, unlawful assembly
  • Martin Muggleton, 62, unlawful assembly
  • Andrew Trammel, 29, unlawful assembly
  • Daniel Prouty, 26, unlawful assembly

Additionally, three members of the Rochester Police Department were treated at a local hospital for injuries sustained as a result of projectiles and incendiary devices that were launched towards them.

Our crews on the scene also reported seeing several injuries to demonstrators.
