Actress Hilary Swank helps find lost dog in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. (WHEC/WNYT) – A lost dog was found by an Oscar-winning actress – right in Albany.

The woman, Chelsea Blackwell, was searching for her 15-year-old dog in downtown Albany.

Blackwell writes on her Facebook that she kept driving around asking people if they had seen a small brown dog.

She went towards the Greyhound Bus terminal, and found a lot of cameras and police cars. She asked if anyone had seen the dog, it turns out actress Hilary Swank picked him up. Swank is in the Capital Region shooting a movie.

Since Blackwell posted the news, it’s been shared nearly 200 times on Facebook and is appearing in articles all over the country.
