ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Rochester Americans fell to the Belleville Senators, 2-1 on Friday evening.

With it, they drop to 6th place in the North Division, one spot below the five necessary to punch a ticket to the AHL playoffs.

Now, they’ll have six games left to climb back in, starting Saturday evening at home against the Springfield Thunderbirds (7:05 p.m. puck drop).

After that, Rochester visits the first place Comets before a home-road split with Cleveland.
