Bills LB Andre Smith suspended six games for PEDs

ROCHESTER N.Y. (WHEC) — Buffalo Bills linebacker Andre Smith has been suspended for the first six games of the 2022 NFL season.

Smith is being suspended for PEDs, as first reported by Ian Rrapaport.

Smith, who signed a two-year deal in 2021, is on the last year of his contract with the Bills. The former UNC Tar Heel played his first two NFL seasons with the Carolina Panthers, before heading to Buffalo in 2020. Last year, he recorded a career high 10 tackles, playing in 15 games.

The fifth-year player would be able to come back in time for the Bills week 8 Sunday Night Football matchup with the Green Bay Packers.
