Buffalo Bills fall to New England Patriots: Game Thread

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Buffalo Bills host the New England Patriots in a windy Highmark Stadium for the right to takeover first place in the AFC East.

Buffalo wins the coin toss and defers to New England. It’s go time!

Damien Harris fumbles on 3rd down. The Patriots recover and are forced to punt to Buffalo.

The Bills go three-and-out and punt back to New England. 11:30 remaining in the first quarter.

Matt Breida fumbles inside the New England 35-yard line and the Patriots fall on it. 6:55 left in the first.

New England puts points on the board first with a 64-yard touchdown run by Damien Harris. New England goes for two and makes it 8-0.

Buffalo recovers a fumbled punt by the Patriots and on the next play, Josh Allen fires it in for six. Tyler Bass connects on the extra point and New England leads, 8-7.

Nick Folk is good from 41 yards. Patriots on top, 11-7 with 11:28 left in the 2nd quarter.

A long Bills drive ends with a punt that’s downed inside the 20-yard line.
