Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen named this week’s AFC Offensive Player of Week

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WHEC) — Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been named this week’s AFC Offensive Player of the Week.
The recognition comes after his performance against the Washington Football Team. Allen helped lead the Bills to a 43-21 victory in Week three, as the QB went 32 of 43 (74.4%) for 358 yards and totaled five touchdowns.
He was also nominated as this week’s FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week on Tuesday.

As for the AFC nods, it’s the first time the quarterback has earned the title this season, and the seventh time in his career.
Allen and the Bills will host the Houston Texans on Sunday at 1 p.m.
