ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)—After two years away, it’s back to camp for members of the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester, as its "Camp Daydreams" started Monday.

News10NBC was there as kids got on the bus to head to Naples Monday morning.

The camp features swimming, hiking, arts and crafts, singing, and much more for kids to do. Organizers say the camp’s mission is to provide an alternative environment where kids in the city can develop as individuals and as members of the community.

Last year’s camp was canceled due to COVID.

"We’re all adults so we don’t really change that much over 2 years, but campers go from yay high to looking you right in your eye like hey buddy," Organizer Scott Blue said. "You know so they’re all excited and I think they’re ready to get two years’ worth of camping in this one year."

This year marks 21 years for the camp.
