ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – Canada’s government is reinstating mandatory random COVID testing for travelers arriving at airports starting on July 19.

Selected, fully vaccinated travelers will need to take a COVID test either at a pharmacy, select testing sites, or in a self-swab test.

Unvaccinated travelers still have to continue with routine testing during their 14-day quarantine.

This comes after the agency had paused its testing in June.
