Community gathers for spring clean-up along Genesee River

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – Volunteers gathered on Saturday for a spring clean-up along the Genesee River.

Genesee River Alliance and the Eastman School of Music Environmental Activism Club partnered up for a spring clean-up along a section of the Genesee Riverway Trail.

The clean-up began at Maplewood Park and went along the trail at Lower Falls and then across Middle Falls to Brewer Street.

The environmental club promotes sustainability at the Eastman School of Music and engages with local environmental organizations in Rochester. More information can be found here.
