Confirmed EF-1 tornado in Livingston County Sunday night

SPRINGWATER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A tornado touched down in Livingston County just before 1 a.m. Monday. The National Weather Service surveyed the damage near Springwater and the hamlet Webster Crossing Monday afternoon.
Treetops were sheared off. Other trees were uprooted or felled.

EF-1 Tornado
Based on the path and type of damage that was produced, they concluded it was an EF-1 tornado that produced the damage. The tornado was on the ground for 0.8 miles, was 75 yards wide, and had estimated wind speeds of 110 mph.

There were no injuries, but the tornado damaged a barn. A full write-up of the storm survey from the National Weather Service can be found here.
