How to order your free at-home COVID tests before Friday’s deadline
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Time is running out to order free at-home COVID tests from the federal government.
The Biden Administration announced it is suspending distribution starting on Friday due to insufficient Congressional funding. The move is an attempt to conserve the limited stockpile of tests for a possible fall surge.
There is still a chance for you to order your share of kits if you haven’t already. Each household can order up to 16 rapid antigen tests through Friday.
You can order the tests on COVID.gov or by calling 1-800-232-0233. All you need to provide is your address. You also have the option to give your email address if you want to get shipping notifications.
