Deputies: Hilton man facing charges in Wednesday night shooting

HILTON, N.Y. (WHEC) — Deputies say a Hilton man is facing several charges following a Wednesday night shooting that sent another man to the hospital.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says 24-year-old Tyler Pitcher shot his neighbor in the abdomen during an argument. Deputies originally responded to the Hilton Village II Apartments on Village II Drive just after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Pitcher’s neighbor was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital is currently in guarded condition. Pitcher is facing a first-degree assault, and a criminal use of a firearm charge.

He is being held in the Monroe County Jail with a court date set for next Tuesday,
