Dominic Pezzola indicted on new charges

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – A local man charged in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol has been indicted on new charges.

Dominic Pezzola is once again named in the same indictment as former proud boys leader Enrique Tarrio and four other members of the extremist group.

The charges of seditious conspiracy and conspiracy to prevent an officer from discharging any duties were added to an earlier indictment.

Pezzola now faces 10 charges total including an additional robbery charge.

He’s scheduled to appear for a federal court hearing on Thursday.
