Double shooting on N. Clinton Avenue, one elderly victim

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – Police are investigating a double shooting on N. ClintonAvenue Wednesday afternoon.

According to Police, the shooting happened around 1:20 p.m. on the 800 block of N. Clinton Ave.

Two victims were taken to the hospital—a 30-year-old man with life-threatening injuries—and a 72-year-old man with non-life threatening injuries. They were both transported to the hospital.

This shooting occurred within just a few blocks of an incident last night near North Clinton Avenue and Rauber Street, where police say a 19- year old man, Richard Collinge III, was shot and killed in a deadly triple shooting overnight. He died at the scene.

There are currently no suspects in custody and the incident is under investigation. If anyone has information they are asked to please call 911.
