FAIRPORT, NY (WHEC) – The eleventh annual Fairport Angels Blood Drive is set to take place on Thursday, June 16.

The Fairport Angels Blood Drive collected 117 units in 2021—the highest blood collection to date. The families are hoping to collect 150 units this year, with consideration for all of the increased medical needs in our area and across the United States. Your blood donation can save up to three lives.

On June 26, the community will remember Hannah Congdon, Bailey Goodman, Meredith McClure, Sara Monnat and Katie Shirley and their love for life. Their five families believe that it is appropriate and a positive way to remember each of these angels by encouraging others to donate through the American Red Cross Blood Drive.

This is the fifteenth year anniversary of the community’s tragic loss—just five days following their high school graduation from Fairport High School.

The blood drive is set to take place Thursday, June 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. John of Rochester Gymnasium, 8 Wickford Way
Fairport, NY 14450
