Fire in the second story of house on Costello Park

ROCHESTER N.Y. (WHEC) – Rochester firefighters responded to a house fire at Costello Park, off Flint Street, around 10 a.m. The fire was on the house’s second floor and is now under control.

Firefighters originally got a call for people trapped on the second floor but they didn’t find anyone trapped after a search. RFD used ladders and gained entry through the second-floor windows.

The house had significant damage to the second floor. This is a developing story and we’ll have more updates throughout the day.
