ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — It’s a damp and dreary start to our Saturday early this morning, but much better weather is expected to roll in this afternoon.

Showers will continue through a good chunk of the morning hours before clouds break after midday. Showers this morning may be heavy at times, but no concerning rain is expected. We will turn mostly cloudy early this afternoon before mostly sunny this evening. Temperatures will be on the cooler side with highs near 70, but we will be comfortable as dew points drop into the low 50s!

Cool and comfy conditions will continue into tonight, before we begin to see our temperatures rise tomorrow afternoon. High temperatures tomorrow afternoon will reach the upper 70s before reaching the upper 80s on Monday. High pressure will move in locally and to our southeast, which means we will be dry but turn humid as we head into Memorial Day.

The hot and humid conditions will continue until a cold front swings through and knocks the dew points and temperatures back down towards the middle and end of this week.
