ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – Mostly sunny, hot and dry weather on the way today. Temps will be in the 80s to around 90 degrees this afternoon.

The humidity will slowly increase later today into tonight as moisture arrives with a cold front into tomorrow. We are looking at some showers and potential thundery downpours overnight into the early morning hours tomorrow with scattered showers and storms tomorrow afternoon.

This may bring some badly needed rainfall to the region with the models ranging from a quarter of an inch to an inch of rain possible. Let’s hope the inch of rain verifies.

Not a washout tomorrow but it will be muggy with a few showers and possible storms but no severe weather expected so our Threat Tracker will remain green.

Following the front cooler and drier weather returns later this week and it looks nice right into next weekend.
