ROCHESTER N.Y. (WHEC) — Another wonderful day is expected today with sunshine and seasonable temperatures. It will be a bit cool early this morning, but temperatures will make their way near 60 degrees this afternoon.

High pressure to our north will keep us clear with abundant sunshine once again. This area of high pressure will have firm control of our weather through the majority of this upcoming week which means we will have dry weather, and we will also warm up.

Sunshine will continue through this week before a few clouds move in late this week. No rain is expected through the work week, and temperatures will begin to soar.

Highs towards the middle of the week will be in the mid 70s before they climb into the mid 80s by Friday. Our next chance for a shower or a thunderstorm will come next weekend, and with the moisture will come the rise in the dew point.

It will begin to turn a touch humid later this week and next weekend as the moisture moves in. Overall though, wonderful Spring to Summer weather is expected over the next week or so, enjoy it!
