First Alert Weather: Fair and cool weather into the weekend

ROCHESTER N.Y. (WHEC) — Mostly cloudy skies are ahead for Thursday with temperatures in the low 70s.

A brief shower is possible late afternoon and early evening but most of us will stay dry. Similar set-up for Friday with sun and clouds and mainly dry weather with temperatures in the low 70s. There is just a slight shower threat, mainly west of Rochester, later in the day.

Looking ahead to the weekend some nice weather is on the way. It will be cooler than normal with temps in the 60s and 70s during the day and 40s and 50s at night.

A warm front will begin to approach our region later in the day Sunday with some increasing clouds but rain should hold off until late at night or Monday. Stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest on brief showers next couple of days and rain chances early next week.
