First Alert Weather: Humid weather slowly making a return

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — There were no complaints about our weather this weekend. Lower humidity, light breezes, and comfortable temperatures were the main ingredients for yesterday and today. But over the next 24 hours, this will change.

It will still be comfortable this evening with patchy clouds and low in the upper 50s. However, the humidity will increase significantly by Monday afternoon, and the temperature will be approaching 80°. In addition, there is the chance of spotty showers and thundershowers tomorrow evening.

The News10NBC First Alert meteorologists predict another long stretch of warm, humid, and unstable weather for most of the upcoming week.

The next 8 to 10 days should bring some typical mid-summer weather. The News10NBC First Alert 10-Day Forecast shows the threat of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm each day. Expect little, if any, significant change in the temperature with readings into the low to mid-80s this week.

This will also include abundant amounts of moisture in the form of higher humidity for each day. As a result, air conditioners will not get much of a breakthrough this week and into next weekend.
