First Alert Weather: Yellow Alert Tuesday for possible severe storms in the afternoon and evening
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) —After another gloomy day today with temps in the 70s and lots of clouds with scattered showers and thunder, a major warm-up is on the way tomorrow with temps surging towards 90 degrees and lots of humidity.
The sultry airmass will provide the ingredients for potential storms in the afternoon and evening hours. Any storm that develops on Tuesday could turn severe with very heavy rain and damaging wind gusts.
The main concern for tomorrow will be the heavy rainfall with local flash flooding a possibility in any area that receives heavy rain.
