ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – Flower City Days horticultural sales at the Rochester Public market continued Sunday morning.

These horticultural sales feature hundreds of vendor stalls with all the gardening essentials, including perennials and annual plants, hanging baskets, succulents, herb and vegetable plants, garden accessories, and more.

Master gardeners from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County were there to provide expert gardening advice.

"You want to have success in your garden and if you have questions about fertilizer, how often to fertilize, pruning or sun. All different plants need different amounts of sun, water, and soil are very important," said master gardener Deanne Quinn.

The Market is located at 280 N. Union St. The full Flower City Days schedule is as follows:

Sundays: May 29, and June 5

Memorial Day Weekend: Friday, May 27 and Monday, May 30 (Memorial Day)

All sales run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
