Gillett Road Bridge over the Erie Canal to close for 2 weeks

OGDEN, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Gillett Road Bridge over the Erie Canal is set to close for two weeks.

The closure will begin next Monday.

The New York State Department of Transportation says crews will be making steel repairs.

No detour will be posted during the closure.

Drivers can access nearby canal bridges on Manitou Road to the east and Union Street to the west.

Local traffic will be able to access Gillett Road up until the bridge.
