Great New York State Fair going back to 13 days next year

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Great New York State Fair will go back to 13 days in 2022.
The governor made the announcement today saying it will support increased participation by fairgoers, vendors and exhibitors.
Next year’s fair will run from Wednesday, Aug. 24 to Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 5.
The state is reviewing how this year’s fair went to improve next year’s event.
The smoking policy will be included in that review.
