High winds result in power outages

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Increasing winds caused power outages throughout the region Sunday afternoon, with many homes still without power by Monday morning.

Rochester Gas and Electric is reporting more than 3,600 customers without power in Monroe County. They say they are expecting to restore 95% of customers’ power by 11:30 p.m. Monday.
