Joywave returns to Rochester for concert during nationwide tour

ROCHESTER N.Y. (WHEC) — The Rochester band Joywave will perform at Anthology music venue on Friday and Saturday. The concert is their 28th stop on their nationwide to promote their new album "Cleanse".
Tickets for Joywave’s hometown return are sold out for Friday but are still available for Saturday, said the band on their website. Their most recent show in Rochester was on the closing day of the Fringe Festival in September 2021.
Joywave was formed in Rochester in 2010. During their 2022 tour, they’ve performed in Florida, Texas, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. Music critics praised their fourth studio album "Cleanse" which was released on Febuary 11.
The concerts at 336 East Avenue will start at 7 p.m. on both days. Tickets can be purchased from the website Bands In Town.
