Lane closures planned for stretch of 390 starting next week

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — There will be lane closures on I-390 South starting on Monday when the New York State Department of Transportation starts redoing the pavement in Monroe and Livingston Counties.

The work will happen between Exit 12 for the New York State Thruway and Exit 10 for Routes 5 and 20 in Avon.

There will be periodic daytime single-lane closures according to the DOT, with longer-term closures in the coming weeks.

The work is weather-dependent, so there may be some delays.
